Bouncy Bouncy

Last night we all had a family doctors appointment. More of a photo session, if you ask me. Dr. Jovanovic put some blue jelly on Momma's tummy and some strange instrument watched me in action. Mom was thinking that they would hear a heartbeat, but the doctor said we won't do that until 16 weeks, so everyone will have to wait a month for that. Since we couldn't do that, I thought I would get out my dancing shoes and show some of the moves I've been working on. I waved my hands and wiggled my feet. Then Mom started laughing, and that made me want to bounce around a bit. So I bounced and I waved and I looked at the camera once, too! Mom and Dad were both very excited and Mom couldn't talk about anything else for the rest of the evening.
And, it turns out, all my dancing and bouncing really paid off. Mom and Dad took me to chinese and then I had some Almond Cookie ice cream for dessert. It was deeee-lish.
I'm still practicing my breakdancing moves so that I can impress the doc on the table when I come out, with a back spin and a side pose.
Well, gotta keep cookin' in here. Hope you enjoy the pics (Mom thinks I'm sucking my thumb in one, and the doc seemed to agree)! Too bad you don't have video of all my moves!
Love,
Baby Sumner
Stats: The doctor did a bunch of measurements all over, including the neck measurement where they see if us babies show signs of downs syndrome, and he said that everything looks perfect! Also, I'm 3.3 inches right now and doc says that the December 11 due date is right on track! Just in time for the holidays!
